I get streak marks from the writing tool when I drag the tiles and scroll. How can I avoid this?

Streak marks are usually from the calibration of the mouse with your screen. It can be minimized by calibrating your mouse using the control panel menu. To avoid streaks completely, change the writing tool to the white color. This is the quickest way to avoid all extraneous marks.

Is there a limit on how many tiles or objects can be on the screen at once?

For optimal viewing, it is best to limit the number of items on the screen to a reasonable number. However, if you do encounter that the system was overloaded, quit out and start the program over to ensure continued maximum performance.

Can I save my work or does it need to be recreated every time?

Yes and No. The A+ Algebra tablet will keep all the items that scroll (i.e. the tiles, the symbols, the writing, the highlighting, etc. but not the ruler) for as long as the program is active. However once you quit the program, all the information is lost. If you want to keep information for future reference but you run out of room, just click . This will add additional pages to the bottom of the scroll.

Please note that the program will not record of the movements.

Sometimes the program runs a little slowly. Whatís going on and how does it get fixed?

Basically, because this program is in Flash, there is a chance that when running at full screen at high resolutions (say, 1600x1200, for example), the Flash software will run slowly. This isn't likely, but it is possible. The reason can be because the video card is slow, or doesn't have enough RAM to function with this program at that resolution. The solution is to reduce the screen resolution. There is no "required" resolution, but the lower the resolution, the faster a
video card can run.

  3.  Paste or Press Control+V

The blue bar flickers when I use the program. Is this normal?

It depends on your machineís capabilities. The program was tested extensively by an independent third-party company and found that the blinking/flashing if any, does not damage the program or your computer. The reason this could be happening is that Macromedia Flash refreshes the screen to capture the movements. Shutting down other programs while using the A+ Algebra Tablet may help minimize the flashing.

The tablet is all blue and doesnít have all the functions. What?

It appears you are viewing the A+ Algebra Tablet with a flash 6 player or lower. It will not work properly in lower versions, 8 or higher only. It should automatically download Macromedia Flash Player with the CD. However, if you are still having issues you can download the latest Macromedia Flash Player version for FREE here.
